
| Kevin Hogan Kevin Hogan has been a certified energy consultant in both the Wisconsin Energy Star® Homes (WESH) program (for new residential construction) and the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program (for existing homes) since 1999. He received the WESH Consultant of the Year award in 2005. Currently, Kevin is a Program Coordinator for the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. His main focus and emphasis is training a variety of contractors involved in learning building science and how to apply that science to improving existing homes. |
| His background is quite diverse; armed with a degree in marketing, Kevin served as a marketing representative for Wisconsin Public Service Corporation through the 1980’s. He provided energy audits for hundreds of existing homes and provided facilitation services for builders for a homebuilding program known as Good Cents®. Kevin has also been an owner/operator of a bowling center/restaurant and is the current owner of Energy Strategies, a residential energy consulting company operating in southeast Wisconsin. His expertise includes residential ventilation design, indoor air quality evaluation, air leakage remediation of building shells, and home performance analysis for new and existing homes. Over the past 26 years, Kevin has attended numerous building science related courses, classes, and seminars. |
| Patrick Miller Pat Miller has been a certified consultant in both the Wisconsin ENERGY STAR® Homes program (new homes) and the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program (existing homes) since 2003 testing and evaluating eastern Wisconsin homes for Energy Strategies. His background is very diverse including degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management with experience in many aspects of home building and remodeling. Pat is also proficient in computer work including home modeling, energy efficiency and improvement analysis. Expertise includes ventilation design and testing, indoor air quality, mold and moisture problems, air leakage testing and air sealing techniques, solar water heating, energy cost reduction, and home performance analysis. His building science knowledge and expertise continues to grow through continuing education classes and ongoing attendance of seminars and workshops. |
Tammie Hogan Tammie Hogan has been the Office Manager for Energy Strategies since 2002. She has a degree in Office Assistance but her office knowledge goes beyond the basics. She is always willing and friendly to talk about the unique services that Energy Strategies has to offer. And she also attends different building science classes to become more experienced to help the company and the customer. |
